Mr. President

Making history as the first African-American to become president, Obama took the oath of office with his hand on a Bible used by President Abraham Lincoln, also a former U.S. lawmaker from Illinois, at his first inauguration in 1861.
The excitement surrounding Obama's inauguration reached a fever pitch in the nation's capital, as hundreds of thousands came to participate in the celebrations.

This was such an exciting day for me. My granddaughter Lexie stayed home from school today just to watch this day of history with me. We stayed glued to CNN, afraid we would miss something. She is such a smart young girl, and for her age she completely understood the importance of this historical day. When they took a break Lexie and I fly off to go shopping. We had only 1 hour. She bought two pair of pants, and I bought some cute shirts and we bee lined it for home. We walked in the door just in time.
What a beautiful day, today was. My heart my mind, my soul has been touch in such an amazing way, its almost hard to describe. All I know is that I feel happy,in such a unspeakably way. May God bless our President, and may God bless our country.
